HELLO, we are a friendly family run business!

We take what we do very seriously and in no way do we want our actions to compromise the ability of future generations to meet their needs. We acknowledge that sustainable development will be achieved through economic viability, environmental protection and social equity.

Ways we try to make a difference:

• The total amount of energy used by our warehouse and office on an annual basis is equal to the amount of renewable energy created on  site. In most instances, we generate more renewable energy than we use. 
• We offset our vehicle travel with Gold Standard Projects
• Where possible, we source supplies that are sustainable, ethical and Australian Made (even if it means paying a little bit more, we're that committed!)
• We minimise waste to landfill by refusing certain materials and brainstorm to discover new ways to do things.
• We reduce the amount of paper we use in our office
• We reuse materials/supplies where we can (makes a bit more work for us washing stuff, but hey, it's worth it!)
• We actively promote recycling and the use of biodegradable/compostable products both internally and amongst our customers
• We measure our impact on the environment and set targets for ongoing improvement.
•  We offer training programs for our staff to raise awareness for sustainable development  and enlist their support in improving our performance. 
• We offer FREE science workshops to specific non-profit children's organisations
• Our personal lives are focused on living an enriching way of life that makes a positive impact on people and planet.

The SDG's are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognise that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.   The Sustainable Development Goals are important, world-changing objectives that will require cooperation among governments, international organizations and world leaders.
